THE HAPPINESS WHEEL

The activity consists on a cardboard wheel with children's faces stuck in the roulette with

Velcro expressing different emotions of happiness, the child has to spin the wheel and express

them in their faces. In addition, we have included cards with different situations, so that they

can connect the emotions more easily.

These are some of the situations: Receiving lots of presents, spending time with grandparents

and people they love, being with friends in the park....

During the second trimester we are going to do this roulette with different emotions, this one

is happiness.

1. We started drawing the wheel on a piece of cardboard. lunnes

2. Then we started drawing and colouring the faces that represent the different emotions of happines. We cut and laminate them, and finally, we stuck them at the cardboard wheel with velcro.

3. We made some cards with different situations, to connect or relate them with the emotions represented at the cardboard.

This activity is thought for 2-3 years old in a class with ten children. This activity is going to be once a week during the second trimester. We are going to do this activity after the assembly. This activity it’ll last about 10 to 15 minutes depending on the children’s attitude.
