Halloween

 

HALLOWEEN ACTIVITY

In this activity we are going to think 5 activities related to Halloween. We will work on different themes: The numbers, the colours, the shapes, the parts of the face.... Then, we will have to act one of the activities in class, reviewing all the content the children have  learnt. 

Tuesday 4th of October 2022

I will do a brief summary of what we have decided to do.

Today we have been organising and deciding what we are going to work on in each activity. We have also been looking for some ideas. What we are going to work on in these activities are: Numbers, colours, parts of the face and shapes.

The 5th activity we decided to do a game where we will review all the previous contents. Also,to reward the work and effort of the children we will give them a gift. 

Wednesday 5th of October 2022

Today we have decided what activities we are going to do during the halloween week:

- Paws counter (Numbers)

- The little witch face (Parts of the face)

- Put it in it´s place (Colours)

- Hallowee flash cards (Vocabulary)

- Catch it (Review) This is the last activity and the one we are going to represent in class.

As I said, to reward the work and effort of the children we will give them a gift. We are going to make ghosts chupachups and put on their hands well done prints.

Tuesday 11th of October 2022

Today we have been working on the last activity, the one we are going to perform. 

In the last activity the children will have to catch with a spatula the figures on the floor that we have printed and laminated previously. The figures that they will have to catch will be represented on cards. In this way we will work on colours, numbers and vocabulary.

On these cards there can be for example: 2 green pumpkins, a blue cat and a yellow cat, 4 ghosts and a little witch...

 Monday 17th of October 2022

On Monday we were working on the document. We also made paper ghosts and pumpkins, bats and ghosts in the form of garlands for the decoration of the classroom during the activity.

Tuesday 18th of October 2022

We started printing the cards and laminating them to make them more resistant.

We decided to make a dialogue to know what to say at each moment of the activity.

We reinforced some aspects that we had left for the end.

Wednesday 19th of October 2022

We bought decorations for the class.

We finished the presentation of the document and the power point.

Finally, we bought some lollipops and covered them with some pieces of cloth cut out to look like a ghost. These will be used to reinforce the children's good attitude.
